In the future...
Recently a friend reminded me of a trusism I had invented back in the late 80s. It went:
"In the future everything will be credit-card sized, except for credit cards"
The future is keeping up.
Here's
The credit card sized computer.
The credit card sized mobile phone.
as for credit cards - well, they're still credit card sized - but not because they have to be - they're only made that way for convenience sake - when really the credit card itself is now just that little silicon chip. Sooner or later it'll get even smaller and be pasted onto your fingernail or implanted on you somewhere.

Scientific American: Having Older Brothers Increases a Man's Odds of Being Gay.
Okey-dokey. Er, but what does it mean when you're an only child like me then? They do come up with some rubbish they really do. Next question: what do they mean when they say 'gay' 'homosexual' or whatever? Is there going to be a follow on study into Lesbians?
I do find this sort of research mildly worrying - why exactly are they doing this? Is so they can find a 'cure' maybe?
